Born from time spent on the Big Island of Hawaii. This lush shrub combines fresh tangerines and locally cultivated lavender to create and herbal citrus delight. Goes wonderfully on summer salads and in blanco tequila cocktails.


Summer of 'Gus

1 Bunch local green asparagus

1 tsp EVOO

1 tsp Lemon pepper

2 oz Tangerine & Lavender Shrub

- Saute asparagus until tender

- Add lemon pepper and Tangerine Lavender shrub

- Simmer for 3 minutes


Local Cheek

4 Local halibut cheeks

2 tsp Cilantro

1 tsp Ginger root

1 clove Garlic

1 tsp Soy sauce

1 tsp Sesame oil

1 tbsp EVOO

2 oz Tangerine & Lavender Shrub

- Whisk together all ingredients except cheeks and olive oil 

- Heat oil in pan to medium high

-Saute cheeks about 2-3 min per side 

-Reduce heat and cook until flaky

- Drizzle with sauce

1/2 Cocci Americano 


Agave Optional

1.5 Vodka or Reposado Tequila 

1.5 Tangerine & Lavender Shrub

1/2 Lemon Juice
